Breathe Deeply And Consider Going A Different Route

Construction season is upon us and in Saint John that means there are some parts of town you may want to avoid in order to keep your blood pressure low.

The City warns us about big delays on Union street at St. Patrick street with the work set to start Wednesday and it continues until the end of July.

The project will see improvements to the islands at the intersection, new traffic lights and pedestrian lights, audible signals and a fourth crosswalk.

While the work is underway, there will be several lane closures and temporary traffic lights in place.

It’s going to slow down traffic so it’s suggested that drivers add extra time to their commute or go a different way.
