Two N.B. Organizations Receive ‘Employee Recommended Workplace’ Designations

Because of rave reviews from their employees, two New Brunswick organizations have received the Employee Recommended Workplace designations from the Globe and Mail.

BioScript Solutions in Moncton and the New Brunswick Association of Community Living, which has offices all around the province, have received the honour.

The NBACL is a provincial non-profit that works for children and adults who have an intellectual disability and their families. We spoke to the association’s executive director Danny Soucy about getting the designation, which he believes has to do with the kind of work they do.

“We’ve seen individuals go from one aspect to another and seen them grow and seen how given the opportunity and people believing in someone, how far they can go,” says Soucy.

“To see that our staff felt this way, we knew some of it but this really brings it home to us.”

32 companies in the country received this designation and of that number nine will be chosen to receive Employee Recommended Workplace Awards at a ceremony in Toronto at the Globe and Mail’s new HQ on June 21.
