The Trudeau Government is falling short when it comes to fixing the outdated Access to Information Act. That criticism is being voiced by the Federal Information Commissioner Suzanne Legault.
She says there’s a lack of interest in updating the Access to Information Act and it’s being used as a shield against transparency.
The RCMP, Canada Revenue Agency, Correctional Services and Global Affairs Canada receive F grades in how transparent they are. National Defence and Health Canada are on Red Alert.
