C-C Sabathia left the game with a strained left hamstring and is likely headed for the disabled list……. Andrew Benintendi hit a single in the 12th inning to drive in Xander Bogaerts from third for the winning run as the Boston Red Sox edged Philadelphia 4-3…..The Toronto Blue Jays lost to Tampa Bay 8-1. Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers is facing a fine from Major League Baseball for making an obscene gesture at Cleveland fans after hitting a home run in the second inning.
Puig says he was heckled in the on deck circle and, in his words, stooped to their level. The Dodgers won 7-5 as Cody Bellinger hit two more homers for Los Angeles.

The Toronto Blue Jays selected University of Texas first baseman Kacy Clemens who’s the son of Roger Clemens in the Major League Baseball draft. Clemens hit .305 with 12 home runs and 49 R-B-I’s.
