The Christmas Kettle Campaign is underway but according to Major Harold Bungay, they are short of volunteers to handle those donation kettles, which he says are extremely important this time of the year.
He says the volunteers recieve up to $300 for every two hours they are on the kettles so the volunteers are the one’s who make it happen.
Major Bungay says they hope to raise $200,000 this year to help out 1500 needy families in Saint John.
