A social activist in Saint John says he has seen too much poverty here in the Port City and something has to be done about it.
Barry Ogden was watching Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Hockey Night In Canada at the Parliament Hill rink when he got the idea to send him a letter telling him about the plight of this city.
Ogden says there is no real hope for those who are 18-34 and he thought the PM should know.
Ogden says he has heard the Premier talk about the so called “New Deal” for Saint John, but he says he has heard that talk before in the past and nothing seems to come from it.
