UPDATED: Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect For Most Of N.B.

New Brunswickers might want to brace themselves for the potential of some wild weather.

Much of the province is under a severe thunderstorm watch from Environment Canada, including the Kennebecasis Valley, Sussex, Fredericton, Moncton and St. Stephen areas.

The weather agency says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that could be able to bring strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
