Good news for business travellers in the Saint John area. Porter Airlines starts service to Saint John in September.
The daily flight will leave Saint John every day at 2pm for Ottawa and then onto to Toronto’s Billy Bishop airport.
Saint John Airport President and CEO Derrick Stanford says the big challenge in the last few years has been reclaiming passengers lost to other airports like Moncton, Halifax and Banger.
Stanford says they have been looking for new carriers for several months and this came about after chatting with Porter airlines on and off about different ideas.
Flights are set to begin on September 21st using a 74-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft and flights are booking now.
More east coast? Yes, please! This September we begin service to Fredericton and Saint John, New Brunswick! https://t.co/kEId7dqibu pic.twitter.com/socL7lfqxW
