Nor’easter Ready To Pounce on Saint John With Snow, Rain, Strong Winds

Environment Canada says the whole province is about to get hit with a snowy wet mess over the next 18 to 24 hours.

A massive Nor’easter is heading up the eastern seaboard and will bring Saint Joh and surrouning area 20 to 30 cm of snow this afternoon, followed by 2 to 4 cm of ice pellets this evening and then 20 to 30 mm of rain.

This will be accompanied by winds gusting up to 90 km/h which will cause blowing snow and whiteout conditions at times.

The storm is expected to taper off to a few flurries by dawn on Friday and then the temperature will drop to minus 6 degrees.
