Damage Report Line Now Open For NBers Who Suffered Flood Related Issues

If you are one of many residents who saw damages in connection with the extreme rainfall over the weekend, you can now file a report to the provincial government..

Residents, tenants, small businesses and not for profit organizations can receive information and also register their flood related damage through the Damage Report Line.

The Department of Environment and Local Government will be providing free water testing for New Brunswickers affected by flooding.

You’re also reminded to:

  • Contact their insurance companies immediately to report damage.
  • Take photos of damages in their homes or properties.
  • Keep receipts of any repairs and replacement purchases for any uninsurable losses.
  • Log the amount of hours of work undertaken for residents who are cleaning their own properties, or family members or those who have assisted in the cleanup process of their property.
