Get ready for a real mess on Tuesday according to Environment Canada which has issued a special weather statement.
It will start Monday evening with snow, between 5 to 10 cm.
The snow will continue on Tuesday morning, then change through ice pellets to freezing rain for about two hours, before turning to rain by noon.
Heavy rain is then expected to fall throughout the afternoon, evening and end after midnight with 25 to 35 mm possible.
There will be strong winds with the system but it will warm up significantly to between 7 and 10 degrees.
The system is expected to leave our region before Wednesday morning.
