UPDATED: Tsunami Warning Issued For Coastal B.C After Alaskan Earthquake Cancelled

While we are dealing with a heavy rainfall warning on the east coast, Environment Canada had issued a tsunami warning for the west coast of British Columbia that has since been cancelled.

It came after a very shallow 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck off Kodiak, Alaska.

The warning was cancelled shortly before 8:30am Atlantic time.
