Motorcycle Involved In Saint John Crash

One person has been taken to hospital after a crash near 1700 Rothesay Road on Saint John’s east side.

Acting platoon chief Roy Byers of the Saint John Fire Department told our newsroom they got the call just after 8 p.m. on Saturday.

“It was a three-vehicle accident, including one motorcycle,” Byers said on Sunday morning. “Fire crews were on that scene for just over two hours.”

There is no word on the extent of the person’s injuries.

Crews also responded to a two-vehicle crash at Samuel Davis Drive and Sandy Point Road around 9:15 a.m. on Saturday.

Byers said three people were treated by paramedics for undetermined injuries.

“Both vehicles sustained enough damage that they required to be towed from the scene,” he said.
