Storm Cleanup Underway

The latest storm of the winter dumping 19 centimeters of snow at Saint John Airport. Environment Canada telling us more snow fell further west with St. Stephen getting 21 centimeters and Grand Manan the highest total at 25 centimeters. Both Fredericton and Moncton recorded 15 centimeters.

Despite the storm and slippery road conditions, both City Police and the fire department say there wasn’t much to report.

The city’s overnight snow parking ban in the North, East and West sides that was declared yesterday afternoon seemed to work well. We’re told not one vehicle was towed. An on street parking ban is expected late tonight in the South-Central Peninsula.
