Outflow Men’s Shelter Offers A Safe Space But It’s Not Home

The Outflow men’s shelter has been set in their new home on Waterloo Street for four months now.

They average 12 men a night but it can go as high as 18 depending on weather conditions.

Colin McDonald says the shelter is a comfortable inviting space but it’s not home.

He says they want to make sure no one dies on the street because they don’t have a bed to sleep but this is not home for them.

He says they have staff that will help them pay damage deposits and find a place to live.

Outflow is located at 162 Waterloo Street.
