Kennebecasis Regional Police are investigating after a dead fish was found in the mailbox of Rothesay town councillor Miriam Wells.
Mayor Bill Bishop calls it despicable telling us Wells is a great lady and councillor who is simply doing her job. He suggests anyone who would do something like that should get a mirror and look themselves in the face and “see what they see.”
Bishop says in all his time on council he’s never seen anything like this before, telling us he has no idea who it is or why they would do it.
Corporal Joe Cantelo says the complaint regarding a dead fish being sent in the mail was made late on Friday and the investigation is still in its early stages.
