By October, Saint John’s waterfront will look a lot different if all goes accordingly to plan.
The Saint John parking commission letting its monthly parkers know they have to vacate the Water street lots starting September 17th as the process to demolish the old Coast Guard buildings gets underway.
The lots will be closed for about two weeks.
Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis in the Peel Plaza Parking Garage, at Sewell and Dorchester, Smythe Street and in the CNR lot near the skateboard park.
Anyone with questions can reach out to the parking commission by calling 506-632-7275.
The buildings must come down to allow for construction on the new New Brunswick Museum which is expected to open in the fall of 2023.
