Funding for the Cherry Brook Zoo for next year has been secured through the help of donors,sponsors and surrounding municipalities.
Director of Zoo Development Lynda Collrin says the zoo keeps finding ways to say afloat, and hopes to have lion cubs at the zoo next year.
Collrin says the funding the zoo received this year is down compared to previous year but it’s enough to keep going.
