The introduction of curbside recyling, the upgrade to the Rothesay Common and the Oakville Acres detention pond among the standout things the town has done in 2015 according to Mayor Bill Bishop.
Bishop says $14.4 million was spent on new buildings and renovations in the town this past year, which he calls amazing progess.
He says that’s compared to last year which saw 10.6-million.
When it comes to the challenges of this year Bishop points to the opposition against the Rothesay Common project however he says the response from the public at the grand opening was overwhelmingly in favour so they are pleased they were persistent in going ahead with the project.
