The Provincial Conservatives are wondering how much of a say does federal cabinet miniwter Dominic LeBlanc have in the running of the provincial government. As Government House leader, LeBlanc is considered one of the most powerful members of the Trudeau Government.
Interim Provincial Conservative leader Bruce Fitch is posing the question whether LeBlanc is really running the province after the Conservatives heard LeBlanc personally interviewed prospective provincial cabinet ministers before they were appointed and has taken part by speakerphone in provincial cabinet meetings.
Fitch also finds it unusual no list of projects was released before the provincial legislature wrapped up before Christmas which says to him Dominic hasn’t approved this list yet and until he does, it won’t be released.
