We are drinking more in the province………That, according to NB Liquor’s number crunching for the quarter which ended December 28th.
Total sales for the third quarter were almost $104 million, up $3.4 million or 3.3 per cent from the the same period in 2013.
Net earnings increased by $2.2 million or five per cent to $46.2 million.
Wine sales grew 6.8 per cent. The sale of hard liquor increased by three per cent and beer sales were up by 1.5 per cent.
