Two local nursing homes – both the Loch Lomond Villa and Village – are closed to unecessary visitors due to confirmed cases of highly-contagious Influenza A and gastrointestinal illness.
Cindy Donovan, the Chief Executive Officer, says it`s a precaution – since the virus is spread by contact, anyone who does have to visit is asked to adhere to a strict hand-washing guideline.
The Loch Lomond Villa and Village will keep the public updated on when the restriction will be lifted.
