A fire has caused fairly extensive damage to a home in the Kennebecasis Valley.
Firefighters got the call to Bradley Lake Road around 6 p.m. on Saturday and found heavy fire on the rear deck and backside of the home.
Division Chief Kevin Clynick of the Kennebecasis Valley Fire Department told our newsroom the fire extended into the roof and made its way into a bedroom.
Clynick said there were several people home at the time but they all made it out safely.
Firefighters were on scene for about four hours and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
