Provincial NDP Leader Dominic Cardy says he’s tired of seeing the same old ribbon-cutting and announcements of incentives to attract big businesses from outside the province.
Cardy tells CHSJ News we need to start looking at our high rates of adult illiteracy, because 5 or 10 years down the road, everyone who moves up one level would be literacy doubling their income….and even though it takes a while, that’s a sure-fire way to grow the economy.
