Think before you speak is an often-administered piece of advice.
That’s something Rothesay Mayor Bill Bishop says he may not have done last month when he made comments slamming mobile food trucks in the community which sparked a controversy. However he says his main point, that the current lack of regulations for the four-wheeled vendors is a problem that needs to be dealt with, still stands.
At the latest meeting of Rothesay Town Council, a motion was passed for staff to continue researching how they operate in other communities and to submit recommendations to amend the zoning by-law that would regulate mobile vending outlets.
