A clothes dryer catching fire at a home on Lawrence Long Road which is on the West side of the city.
Saint John Fire Platoon Chief Peter Saab tells us the second floor blaze was quickly extinguished by firefighters and nobody got hurt. The fire damage didn’t spread beyond the laundry room but the rest of the house did sustain smoke damage.
Saab says the accidental fire was due to an electrical problem within the dryer.
