A federal inmate from Ontario wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested in Quispamsis.
The Kennebecasis Regional Police Force says Ronald Countryman, 57, was arrested at the Quality Inn and Suites on Monday.
Officers were called to the Millennium Drive hotel after getting a report of a man acting suspiciously.
Police in Ontario issued a warrant for Countryman after he failed to show up for a parole meeting on August 15 — less than a week after he was released from a maximum security prison.
Countryman was serving time for operating a motor vehicle with a disqualified licence, impaired driving, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and identity fraud.
