Local, Local, Local…..That’s the focus of the job creation strategy unveiled by Provincial Green Party leader David Coon.
He tells CHSJ News the Green Party’s plan is built around supplying more of what people in the province need from local businesses that employ local people and instead of using fossil fuels, develop local renewable forms of green energy that is more sustainable.
Coon claims the province is full of budding entrepreneurs whose talents are there just waiting to be harnessed.
As an example of what he’s talking about, Coon points to the local food movement which he says has just taken off.
