Video Footage Prompts Demand For Apology From Education Minister

The Liberal candidate for Moncton Centre calling for an apology from the Education Minister after the surfacing of a video that he says appears to show Conservative campaign workers giving advice to anti-abortion protestors at a Liberal event.

Chris Collins tells us these tactics may be the norm in the U-S and may be becoming more common in Canada under Prime Minister Stephen Harper but New Brunswickers don’t like the win-at-all-costs approach to election campaigns. He says it’s lowering the bar when it comes to politics in New Brunswick.

The campaign workers were wearing P-C shirts with the words Marie-Claude Blais 2014. We have reached out to the provincial Conservative party for comment but haven’t heard anything at this point.
