Telecommunications Operators are needed for the RCMP.
These are civilian positions based in Fredericton.
Corporal Chantal Farrah says the Operators take calls from the public for assistance from police.
“So when a person calls 911 and it gets transferred to the RCMP, it’s our job to find out what’s going on at your house or the place that you are, what kind of policing response you need, we need to triage that correctly and get you the help you need immediately,” says Corporal Farrah.
A qualified candidate is a good multi tasker, who wants to help others.
You must be bilingual because you are helping people in both English and French.
The deadline to apply is January 13th.
