The Sea Dogs announcing free agent forward Alexander Kealey has joined the team.
He’s from Ottawa and listed at 6 foot 6, 187 pounds posting 12 goals and 28 points in 27 games last season with the Ottawa Senators Midget AAA club.
The 16 year old participated in the Sea Dogs’ training camp last month, but left after 48 hours to maintain his U.S. college eligibility.
Alexander has decided that the Sea Dogs and the Q League are best for him to develop as a student-athlete.
The Dogs host the Charlottetown Islanders in their next pre-season match on Friday night at 730pm at Harbour Station.
