That word coming from John Gardner, co-chair of the Concerned Citizens of Charlotte County group.
Gardner says raising the corporate income tax is one option in the Strategic Program Review document that he wants to see implemented. “Bring the tax level at least up to other provinces. We need to stay competitive, but we at least need to get our fair share from corporations.”
Gardner says corporations in New Brunswick have been getting a lot of tax cuts, and that is simply not working for the rest of us.
