The world has lost another legendary musician. An official statement from “The Eagles” Facebook page has confirmed the passing of Glenn Frey at the age of 67.
It says, “Frey fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks, but sadly succumbed to complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis and Pneumonia.”
Glenn Frey was the Co-Founder of the Eagles, and co-wrote and sang on many of their hits. When the Eagles broke up, Frey launched a successful solo career.
Frey’s friends and fans have taken to Twitter to express their condolences.
