Kevin Lacey of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation calls the job losses at PotashCorp a big blow to the provincial government.
Lacey tells us the loss of these jobs will have a significant impact on the budget.
He says it could lead to a tax increase unless the government gets their spending under control.
As for highway tolls, Lacey says that would be double taxing because the government would be asking people to pay for roads that they already paid for through the gas tax.
The Gallant Liberals release their second budget on February 2nd.
