A low pressure system is expected to intensify along the East Coast of the United States as it approaches the Maritimes on Sunday.
There is potential for significant snowfall and strong winds with blowing snow especially over southern and central regions of the province.
The white stuff should start falling early on Sunday and gradually taper to flurries overnight or early Monday.
