New Brunswickers Facing Charges After Major Drug Investigation

Four people are facing charges after a major RCMP drug investigation by in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Searches were conducted between October 2014 and this month, as a part of Project Lunge.

It targeted drug networks distributing substances including cocaine, crack, and pot.

A man from Grand Barachois, a woman from Shediac, and two men from Charlottetown are facing charges.

Officers seized assets including a home, and three vehicles, as well as a significant amount of drugs.

RCMP say this investigation will have a significant impact on the amount of drugs on the streets of Prince Edward Island.

No names have been released yet.
