Quispamsis Residents Flared Up Over Consumer Fireworks

A noise by-law has been tabled for the time being by Quispamsis Town Council.

One of the main reasons is to make some changes, including not allowing residents to use consumer fireworks during a fire ban.

Some residents of Quispamsis showed up at Town Council to voice their displeasure, saying consumer fireworks would keep them up at night.

The tabled by-law would have allowed using consumer fireworks until 11 o’clock at night, both during the week and on weekends.

Quispamsis Mayor Murray Driscoll says the by-law will be looked at again after some changes are made.
