Not many details have been released but the reason traffic was being detoured late yesterday afternoon was because the Kennebecasis Fire Department was putting out a fire, we are told, outside the home of lawyer Bill Teed on Gondola Point Road near the Rothesay Common.
Meanwhile, the Saint John Fire Department is reporting it was called for help by the fire department in Grand Bay-Westfield to extinguish a fire at 4 Midwood Avenue but the fire engine was turned back before arriving.
