Money That Was Destined To Help Animals In Distress Stolen

How low can you get when you steal from a charity…….That’s what happened in the City Market. City Police are now searching for two men, described in their early twenties, who stole a tin with money in it for the Busy Paws charity in the City Market shortly before noonhour on Monday. The two were wearing hoodies at the time, one grey and the other light blue.

The money goes to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue League as well as other organisations that help animals in trouble.

It’s not known how much money was in the tin which was located on a table at the Germain Street entrance to the Market at the top of the escalators before the double doors into the Market itself.
