A legend in the Saint John restaurant scene has passed away.
Theodore Likourgiotis on Saturday at the age of 83.
He was born in Southern Greece in 1932 and came to Canada in 1956 through Pier 21 in Halifax.
His started with the Granada Restaurant on Waterloo Street, followed by the Diana Restaurant at King Square and in 1971 opened the Mediterranean Restaurant on Rothesay Avenue with partners Mike Feggos and George Flogeras.
A funeral will be held at the Cathedral on Thursday at 2pm.
