Passenger traffic for the Saint John Airport in 2015 was record breaking.
It broke the previous record set in 2014.
Interim President & CEO Angela McLean attributes the successful year in passenger volume to the improving travel experience for customers.
She says another driving factor behind the increasing passenger numbers was due to the tremendous season experienced by Sunwing Vacations.
McLean says Sunwing Vacations plan on starting weekly direct flights and vacation packages next month to Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
She says direct travel will also be available to Orlando from Saint John.
