Saint John police arresting a 27-year-old man today who was previously on the lam since the end of July.
James Halleran was arrested about 3:30 pm today in the MacLaren Boulevard area and City police have been actively looking for him since he left the Parrtown community correctional facility on July 31st.
He was previously convicted of several charges including aggravated assault and assault with the use of force.
Halleran was found with drugs on him at the time of his arrest.
He’s due before a judge at a later date to answer to charges relating to drug possession and being unlawfully at large.
