The Aquatic Centre is hosting the Maine State Invitational Championships this weekend
Bob Russell is the Officials Chair of Swimming for Maine, he says the Aquatic Centre is a great location for the event.
Over 300 swimmers will take part from Maine, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
The main reason for hosting the event here in Saint John was for the 50 metre Olympic sized pool.
