Taxi Driver Robbed

City Police investigating the reported armed robbery of a taxi driver that occurred shortly after 3:30 this morning in the area of Clarendon Street in the the north end.

Two men were picked up on Clarendon Street after which a weapon was used to demand money from the driver.

Both suspects are described as being in their early twenties and clean shaven. One was approximately five feet eight, wearing a dark jacket while the second was a bit shorter in height.

The two made off with an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen in the area of Clarendon Street.

The taxi driver was not injured.

There was another cab robbery in the same area on FVriday morning.
