New Jersey over Buffalo in a shootout 2-1 and Columbus won over Philadelphia 5-2.

Team New Brunswick archers Alyssa Murphy, of Hanwell and Hailey Baisley of Miramichi each won bronze medals at the Canada Winter Games.

At the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Jennifer Jones of Manitoba remains unbeaten and tied with Alberta at 6 and 0 after a 9-3 win over Quebec. Rachel Homan is 5 and 1. Sylvie Robichaud of New Brunswick is 1 and 5 after a 9-8 win over Quebec.
