At the Canada Winter Games, New Brunswick will face off against Manitoba in semi-final ringette play today after beating Saskatchewan 9-2……..In curling, Ben MacFarlane, Carter Small, Adam Tracy and Brent Wishart of Fredericton, won their first match of the competition 18-0 over the Yukon…..In women’s hockey, it was Quebec over New Brunswick 4-2……In Wheelchair basketball, New Brunswick beat Nova Scotia 86-31.

At the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Manitoba’s Jennifer Jones was upset by Mary-Anne Arsenault of Nova Scotia 9-6 before winning over Sylvie Robichaud of New Brunswick 9-7. Nova Scotia also won over Rachel Homan 7-6. Alberta is in first with a record of 8 and 0. Robichaud is 2 and 6.
