A kitchen fire in one unit of a four-unit Fredericton townhouse forcing out a couple and their young daughter.
The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze on 43 Emmerson Street was quickly extinguished. But fire crews advising the family of three that they should stay elsewhere until repairs and cleanup are finished because the smoke odour could be dangerous to the two-year-old girl and her pregnant mother, who is supposed to give birth in a matter of days.
The Red Cross is helping out the family.
