The NDP candidate in Saint John Harbour, Gary Stackhouse is calling on voters in the riding to remember the last 8 years before casting their ballots.
Stackhouse says Conservative Carl Killen is a good guy but has spoken up for David Alward and not the people in the riding.
As for the Liberal candidate, Dr. Ed Doherty, Stackhouse says he supported the sale of NB Power to Hydro Quebec and was the lead Minister when the Shawn Graham Government was ready to turn U-N-B Saint John into a Polytechnique.
Stackhouse says he has heard from people in the riding who say the rentalsman is not working for them. He also says measures have to be taken to strengthen mediation between tenants and landlords on such issues as mould and bedbugs.
