The Sea Dogs family is rallying around equipment manager David “DK” Kelly who is undergoing a second cancer surgery today.
President Wayne Long says DK has been part of the team since day 1 and friends, former players and fans around the world are asking what they can do to help.
The team is organizing an online auction and a website has been set up and a PayPal account where donations will be accepted for Kelly and his family.
Fans attending the team’s remaining three home games can sign a greeting card, which will be available at Sea Dogs Central, located behind Section S, on the Harbour Station concourse.
