Saint John Gets Hit With Just Under A Foot Of Snow

Most New Brunswickers will be spending their Saturday morning digging themselves out after a snowstorm swept through the province.

Gelas Duguay from Environment Canada says Gagetown got hit the hardest in the province with 45 cms.

Duguay says Saint John recieved 29 cm, Moncton got 37 cm, Sussex had 27cm and 23 cm was reported at the Fundy National Park.

He says the forecast looks pretty good for the province today, with mainly sunny skies and some clouds throughout the day.

Saint John Police say roughly 15 cars were towed overnight as a result of the overnight parking ban on the North, East and West areas of the city.

The storm was bad enough to cancel the Saint John Sea Dogs game against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
